1. Who we are
This website, seagullventure.in, is operated by Seagull Venture Private Limited ("Seagull Venture", "we", "us"), 1st Floor, Plot No. 9, Rohit Nagar, Bawadiya Kalan, Gulmohar Colony, Bhopal 462039, Madhya Pradesh, India. For personal data collected through this website and in the course of our engagements, we are the Data Fiduciary under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
Our platforms, including MOJO Network, The Founder Kid, StateNews.AI, Ekatma Vani and Pragya Veda, have their own privacy policies on their own websites. This policy covers only seagullventure.in and our consulting work.
2. What we collect
- Information you give us. Your name, organisation, phone number, email address and the details of your enquiry, when you write to us, call us, message us on WhatsApp or use the enquiry form.
- Information shared during an engagement. Business, project and contact information you or your team share while we work together, including documents for scheme documentation. This is also covered by the confidentiality terms of your engagement.
- Technical information. Like any website, our hosting and security provider automatically processes your IP address, browser type, device type, the pages requested and the time of the request, to deliver the site and protect it from abuse.
The enquiry form on this site does not store anything on our servers. It opens your own email app with a message addressed to us, which you then choose to send.
3. How we use it
- To reply to your enquiry and follow up on it
- To prepare proposals and deliver the services you engage us for
- To send you information you have asked for
- To keep records we are required to keep by law, such as tax and accounting records
- To keep this website secure and working
We do not sell personal data. We do not send marketing messages without your consent, and you can ask us to stop at any time.
4. Basis for processing
We process personal data on the basis of the consent you give when you contact us or engage us, for the specified purpose for which you voluntarily provide it, and where processing is needed to comply with law. You may withdraw consent at any time, as easily as you gave it. Withdrawal does not affect processing already carried out.
5. Who we share it with
- Our team and associates who need it to work on your enquiry or engagement
- Service providers who help us run our business, such as email, hosting, website security and cloud storage providers, under confidentiality obligations
- Government departments, institutions or partners, only where you instruct us to as part of an engagement
- Authorities, where we are required to by law
Case studies on this website are anonymised. We do not name clients without their permission.
6. Cookies and third-party services
We do not use advertising or analytics cookies on this website. Our security and delivery provider may set strictly necessary cookies to protect the site. The site loads fonts from Google Fonts, which means Google receives your IP address. Links to LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram and our platform websites are governed by the privacy policies of those sites. If we add analytics in future, we will update this policy first.
7. Where data is stored
Our service providers may store or process data outside India. Where they do, we take reasonable steps to make sure the data stays protected, and we follow any restrictions notified by the Government of India.
8. How long we keep it
We keep enquiry data for as long as we need it to respond and follow up, and for up to two years if no engagement follows. We keep engagement records for the duration of the engagement and for as long afterwards as the law requires. After that, we delete or anonymise the data.
9. Security
We use reasonable security safeguards to protect personal data from unauthorised access, loss or misuse. No system is completely secure. If a personal data breach occurs, we will inform affected persons and the Data Protection Board of India as the law requires.
10. Your rights
You have the right to:
- Ask for a summary of the personal data we hold about you and how we use it
- Ask us to correct, complete, update or erase your personal data
- Withdraw your consent
- Have your grievance addressed by our Grievance Officer
- Nominate another person to exercise these rights in the event of your death or incapacity
To use any of these rights, write to our Grievance Officer at the address below. We aim to respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may approach the Data Protection Board of India.
